Is this what the area is called - Flatbush Malls? or does this describe the medians in the middle of the street?

They city likes to label every little patch of grass as park land, so that it can inflate its claims of how much space in NYC is devoted to parks. That's why that sign is there. So...go have a picnic in the middle of the street!
Actually its been called Flatbush Malls for decades. The space that is, not the area.
